Catholic Future Foundation Announces Approval of Key Enhancements to Support Donors, Parishes and Schools

Omaha, NE — June 15, 2026 — The Catholic Future Foundation (CFF) Board of Trustees has approved three strategic proposals aimed at strengthening donor opportunities and engagement, improving financial transparency and better supporting the planning needs of Catholic parishes and schools. These recommendations were first approved by the CFF Investment/Finance Committee on May 20, 2026.

The approved initiatives include:

• Expanded Administrative Fee Rebates: Eligibility for administrative fee rebates will now extend to qualifying permanently endowed funds, ensuring more equitable treatment across fund types and responding directly to donor feedback. This enhances the long-term attractiveness of permanent endowments.
• Enhanced Rebate Calculation Through Aggregation: CFF will adopt a holistic approach by aggregating fund balances by beneficiary agency or by donor and donor sub-accounts when determining rebate eligibility. This update reflects the total scope of support provided to ministries and strengthens relationship-based stewardship.
• Earlier Distribution Communication Timeline: The timeline for calculating and communicating the 13-month rolling average distribution will shift to allow distributions to be communicated in February rather than April. This change improves alignment with tuition assistance decisions and parish budgeting cycles.

Implementation of these initiatives will begin in the upcoming fiscal cycle beginning July 1, 2026.
